I’m Amber Van Elgort, and my path to where I am today has been anything but ordinary. In 2012, I moved to Alberta, working construction while raising two young kids on my own. When my job security disappeared overnight, I knew I needed to rewrite my future—not just for myself, but for my children. I took a leap of faith, took out a loan, and enrolled in Massage Therapy School at CDI College.
I graduated with honors in 2014, moved to Spruce Grove, and soon after welcomed my third child into the world. Life didn’t slow down. A year later, I found myself a single mom again, balancing motherhood and a career. After working as an RMT for a year, I realized my worth wasn’t being recognized in the clinic I was at. So, with nothing but a dream and a $10,000 credit card, I took another leap—I opened my own massage clinic in 2017. Through hard work and passion, my practice grew. I expanded into a larger space in Spruce Grove, trained in craniosacral therapy, and led a team of six RMTs and a chiropractor. But then the pandemic hit. Like so many others, I faced financial and personal struggles.
In 2022, I made the heartbreaking decision to close my clinic. What followed was a period of deep reflection and growth. I earned certifications in hypnotherapy and life coaching, devoured books on healing, and even wrote one of my own. At the same time, my youngest son was struggling, my older kids were finishing high school during a pandemic, and I was facing some of the hardest moments of my life. Then, I discovered Human Garage and Fascial Maneuvers—an approach that completely transformed my understanding of healing. It wasn’t just about the body it was about the mind, the emotions, and the deeper layers of stress and trauma we all carry. Now, I’ve brought together everything I’ve learned—over a decade of massage therapy, craniosacral therapy, coaching, hypnotherapy, and movement therapy—into a one-of-a-kind healing experience. My goal is to help others find the freedom, relief, and transformation that I found for myself.
